Terror's the LEAST I can do...

Welp. This started out as a Nyr-Ra sketch. At least, that was the intent when I sat down and started drawing this morning.
But no. My muse had other ideas, despite my listening to my ship's playlist.

So I wound up drawing ~itaZuran's Mayday instead.
What's up with the title here? I was listening to "In The Dark Of The Night" from the Anastasia OST over and over again (yes, it's on my Nyr-Ra playlist, for obvious reasons,) and between that and a good dash of Halestorm, we wound up with this sketch, titled for one of Rasputin's lines in "In The Dark Of The Night."
Foreshortening here kills me. And shading and depth, what are those?
Still, for my first attempt at sketching Miss Mayday, I'm happy with how she turned out.

Now if only I can focus enough to sketch Mayday with Wraith, themed to Halestorm's "Freak Like Me." Can't foresee that happening too well soon though; Slithe is still demanding all my attention.
